Our onsite industrial sewing production program has been designed to accommodate the needs of participants with health and social challenges who require a more flexible work environment than is currently available in an external placement. Our complement of 25 participants, many of whom are Threadworks graduates, use their industrial sewing skills to fulfill orders for a variety of customers. The team also makes a line of products made from up-cycled street banners donated to us by municipalities, BIAs and other organizations. Every year we divert hundreds of kilos of fabric from the landfill through our Banner Line.
